SOUPER BOWLDER FUNDRAISER:
EXHIBIT & SALE - October 21 through November 8, 2009

Boulder Arts & Crafts, 1421 Pearl Street Mall, will host Souper Bowlder October 21 through November 8. For 13 years Souper Bowlder has helped raise funds and awareness for those less fortunate in our community. Potters donate hundreds of bowls; all proceeds from the sales of the bowls are donated to local charity organizations. This year local volunteers can pay $10 each for the opportunity to paint bowls at Color Me Mine - their bowls will be in the exhibit also.

Souper Bowlder 2009 will support the Boulder Shelter for the Homeless.

Thanks to those who participated by painting a bowl at Color Me Mine. Your bowl will be included in the exhibit at Boulder Arts & Crafts and sold to benefit the Boulder Shelter for the Homeless. Purchase finished Bowls for $15 each at Boulder Arts & Crafts from October 21 - November 8th.

Plan to shop early for choice bowls made by potters from all over Colorado's front range. Every year local professional & student potters plus local volunteer bowl decorators generously donate hundreds of bowls.

Purchase Mixes from Women's Bean Project & the Souper Bowlder Cookbook !

Once again we'll have soup and muffin mixes from the Denver Women's Bean Project, a nonprofit organization that teaches job readiness and life skills for women, with the goal of transforming their lives and moving them toward self sufficiency.

The Souper Bowlder Cookbook is full of great recipes from Boulder Arts & Crafts staff & artist members - they are known to be good cooks. Many thanks to Lisa McDonough for collecting and editing this collectible book.
