Boulder Arts & Crafts, 1421 Pearl Street Mall, will host Souper Bowlder October 24 through November 12. For 12 years Souper Bowlder has helped raise funds and awareness for those less fortunate in our community. Potters donate hundreds of bowls; all proceeds from the sales of the bowls are donated to local charity organizations.

Souper Bowlder 2008 will support EFAA, Emergency Family Assistance Association of Boulder.

Purchase Bowls for $15 each at Boulder Arts & Crafts
from October 24 - November 12th

Plan to shop early for choice bowls made by potters from all over Colorado's front range. Every year local professional and student potters generously donate hundreds of bowls. This year local volunteers paid $10 each for the opportunity to paint bowls at Pottery Caffe and Color Me Mine - their bowls will be in the exhibit also.

Purchase Mixes from Women's Bean Project & the Souper Bowlder Cookbook !

Once again we'll have soup and muffin mixes from the Denver Women's Bean Project, a nonprofit organization that teaches job readiness and life skills for women, with the goal of transforming their lives and moving them toward self sufficiency.

The Souper Bowlder cookbook is full of great recipes from Boulder Arts & Crafts staff & artist members - they are known to be good cooks. Many thanks to Lisa McDonough for collecting and editing this collectible book.

Thanks to our sponsors: Pottery Caffe, Color Me Mine, and KGNU Radio Boulder's Independent Community radio station for sponsoring Souper Bowlder 2008.

Special thanks to Gloria of Color Me Mine, Jane of Pottery Caffe,
Ellen Spiller, Lisa McDonough, all donating potters & all decorators
