"I
have been a fiber artist for seventeen years and have a Master of Fine
Arts in Fiber Design. My interest in handmade paper stems from a need
to work fast; paper allows this. The embellishment is not as fast, yet
it is very satisfying. My work is influenced by various ethnic cultures,
specifically African, Aboriginal, and Native American. No two pieces
are alike, and each piece is hand stitched and painted. Materials include
