Each sculpted bird and creature of Judys has its own unique character and attitude. Judy uses pulp papier-mache as her primary medium and incorporates wire, wood, and found objects to further enhance the form and gesture in her work. Most found objects used as bases (ladders, toys, etc.) have aged beyond their original purpose. With clever manipulation and placement, these objects take on a new life without losing their sense of the past. Judy Whipples work is in constant demand and adored by all.
