So Young Park grew up in Ul-San, South Korea.
She studied fine arts at Kon-Kuk University in Seoul. There she began working with metal. She received her Master of Fine Arts in metal & jewelry in 1999. After relocating to the US, she graduated with another Master of Fine Arts degree in metal & jewelry design from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 2003.
Her jewelry is now shown nationally and internationally.
