Steve Helfant was always drawn to woodworking and found his niche in turning because of the freedom of creativity and shape the technique allows.
Steve's style of turning is a fluid, spontaneous process. His ideas evolve when a raw piece of wood is mounted on the lathe - the piece often takes on a life of its own.
Steve lives, turns, and chases his boys in Highlands Ranch, Colorado.
